My first Pivot posted on the internet EVER!!!

Hope you like it.
It is very short but i went for quality not quantity.
And yes I know i didn't animate his front bent leg. I really didn't know how tbh
Tips for improvement please

Sorry guys I haven't been active over Crimbo Holidays cos I have been SOOOO busy being like constantly with relatives and being on holiday and generally being no where near a computer so I couldn't come on and be active
Anyway i've tried to fix this anim and ive replaced it with the old one

This is good for your first pivot, but I believe the guys rotation was a bit slow. Otherwise, this was overall a good pivot.

I know what you're thinking, "OMG WALL OF TEXT!!!". Read it. There is a prize at the end that only me and Kwts will get, but is still important.

Less frames on the swing of the punch?

Don't listen to Justin, he's a noob. You just gotta work on moving the joints according to the movement. For a punch, you need build-up, which you have for the most part. The leg movement was a bit un-necessary. So work on general movement.

I wouldn't say the leg movement was unnecessary. It can make a great build up to a punch and would add some power in real life, not to mention the fact that it really loosens up the whole animation and that's good. What you did need to do was to keep the foot placement consistent. The foot shouldn't slide at all. Since the movement of the back leg was very good, and you only want the body moving up and down for this part really, the best way to improve this animation would be to move each frame so that the back foot stayed in the same place, and then move the front leg to keep the front foot in the same place. Since you're using pivot, this will automatically give you the movement of the front leg that you didn't know how to do before.

You could also cut out some of the frames on the punch. The feet can move faster during that bit with n o issue, and the bigger the spacing the more power you get.

The last point would be to try to keep the momentum consistent on the stick/wall thingy. The bottom of it started off flying up towards him and then changed direction. Really, it shouldn't change until it hits the ground or something else.

For someone who hasn't received criticism before that was fantastic. You're a natural at this. Keep practising and you could be really good (not that that doesn't go for anyone). Good work.
