I wonder if Notch would add Ropes into the game, that would be awesome

ropes are meh. they'd be kinda helpful, but nothing special.

Maybe you could attach a rope to an arrow and have a grappling hook? The mere thought makes me tingle.

I'm really excited about 1.7. The pistons are going to open up a whole 'nother world for building... And I'm gonna make me some sick cannons or something

you can't make cannons with the pistons because jeb's don't launch you or sand/gravel/TNT in the air. it's depressing.

Indeed, Slimes are really rare so it will be tricky to make sticky pistons.

Rumors/future updates:
In the future we might be able to write books and paint painting in minecraft.
N.P.C's might be added in a future minecraft.
There won't be any more weapons, just stick with the classic sword and bow.
1.7 Rummors
Since adventure mod will be added, they might add dragons! They also say that you might be able to ride them, not sure if dragons will be there.

I'd like to see awesome battle scenes, like Notch said, He said that if you jump in 1.8, and hit an enemy, it'll do X2 of what your using as a weapon!

jeb said that there most likely won't be dragons in minecraft. he says if notch does decide to add them though, they won't be ride-able.
jeb says no, notch says interesting.

I think your confusing Minecraft with Super-Mario... I don't think that's actually true, we're still going for 1.7 so there isn't any offcial plans for 1.8, I soposse.

actually, he's right.
they're adding critical hits and stuff like that in a future update. i you hit them from above or something, it does more damage.

Snap! The adventure mod as been bumped, it won't come in 1.7 but it will come in 1.8. (:
