| So I decided I was going to begin moving in one direction on the PivotDestiny server, place where no one has ever been or generated, so in theory I would generate the new ravines, and stuff like that. As I went along, I thought I had run into an ocean, so I kept going, but it just kept going and going and going, with small tiny islands all over. Is this the end of all generation for that direction of travel? | |

| lolno.
End of normal generation takes about 3 weeks to get to, non-stop.
You've just found an ocean.

| About a million meters from the spawn, at the 'end' on the infinite world, the land used to screw up like so: - Spoiler:
This was called the Far Lands. Notch didn't want to remove this because he thought it was pretty cool, but he accidentally did in 1.8 with the new land generation. Now it's just normal. Also, going all the way to the edge will take you a very long time and you'll end up with a gigantic save file.
