| Can I get a sticky on this thread?
If you are looking to have a pivot war with someone but don't mind who, create a thread and await challengers. You should include:
- whether or not you want to be challenged only by someone of a certain skill level (ie. beginners only) - any conditions of the pivot war (ie. 200 frames, must include a chicken, etc.) - a sample of your work so that prospective challengers know what they're up against. - an edit to your thread every two weeks or so so that people know you're still active.
If you want control over who you go against, look for a thread that someone else has created and challenge them. Note:
- do not challenge someone if they are in the middle of a pivot war with someone else, unless they explicitly say they are happy to take on more than one person. - do not challenge someone who is inactive. Check when the thread was last posted in or edited: if it's more than two weeks ago, they probably aren't here any more.
There are no set rules for how a pivot war should go, so when you have found someone to be against you will have to discuss between you the terms. Generally these will involve:
- number of frames - content - whether or not you can use others' sticks - due date (which usually slides)
but you can do whatever you like in practice. If you and your opponent are diametrically opposed on a condition then I suggest you either agree to ask an independent third party to decide what's best, or you cancel and seek other opponents.
When you have both finished your animations, whoever it was that created the thread in the first place should then add a poll to that thread so that other people can vote on which was best (or which fulfilled the judging criteria better if there were any). Please don't create a separate thread for voting because that creates clutter.
~Thanks and have fun.

That should of been there for a while. And I checked out the permissions, and you have mod permissions on all topics. | |

| They include locking posts, editing posts, moving, all that good stuff. If you can't sticky a topic by pressing the + sign under the text box, then it must a screw up with the actual skin. Some skins don't even have the sticky button. :\ | |
