imo, it stops in the air for too long after rebounding off the left wall

i think that he was going for unrealistic for that part and i think it would be better if the ball stretched and flattened when its going fast and when it hits a wall

Yeah between the wall and highest point of rebound seems too slow, unless you were going for the effect Pajama said.

When an object moves through the air the horizontal speed needs to always be constant. It's just the up and down movement that gets eased.
